HER Royal Highness Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bolkiah, Team Official of the Brunei Darussalam Netball Team was present to watch the training of the national squad at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium Sports Complex in Berakas yesterday.
In an interview with the Bulletin, Her Royal Highness expressed proud of the achievement and development shown by the Royal Bees.
“The Singapore series was very successful. The main objective of the exposure matches was to see how the team would perform against stronger opponents. Overall we did very well and I’m very proud of the girls.
“We saw them get together on the court and managed to apply what they learnt, with the strategies and skills they practiced. They were committed, disciplined, worked hard and did very well.
“After the Singapore Exposure Series, I think the team needs to stay dedicated in the training regime that Coach Thilaka has provided for them and to stay focused and stay motivated, not only to improve themselves as individual athletes but also with their game play as a team,” she said.
Her Royal Highness also advised the team to keep training and be healthy. She also wished a happy Ramadhan to all athletes and muslims in Brunei.
