Le Doux Patisserie opened up their account in the 1st Brunei Basketball Association (BBA) League with an 89-35 victory over DMC Enterprise last night.
With a roster filled with national cagers, five players notched double figures in the triumph at the BBA court in Batu Bersurat. Muhd Zainul Ashyraf Hj Hussin led everyone with 21 points while Hj Md Rahmad Hj Suhaili added 15 points.
Ben Sim contributed 11 points while the duo of Yap Chun Ping and Mak Chia Wee chipped in 11 and 10 points respectively in the victory. No cager scored double figures for DMC.
The earlier game saw Yuan Thong Enterprise (YTE) fend off Bukit Ladang 89-61 for their first win of their campaign. It was their first win in two matches while Bukit Ladang have lost two straight. The six-team league will continue tomorrow with I-Cyber going up against Mochi-Each A Cup (MEAC) at 7pm.
The second match pits YTE against Le Doux at 8.30pm.
