The pencak silat competition, held in conjunction with the birthday of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, held its official opening ceremony yesterday.
Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Paduka Hj Mohd Hamid Hj Mohd Jaafar officiated the ceremony.
The competition is currently in it's semi-finals and final stages after running since Monday.
The semi-finals will be held today from 2pm onwards at the Multipurpose Hall of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.
The final rounds is slated for Friday starting at 2pm and the closing ceremony is scheduled for 8pm.
