Thursday, September 12, 2013

The National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) wishes to announce that the governing body of world football, FIFA, has approved NFABD's application to have FIFA Goal Project 2.

This good news was conveyed by FIFA President Joseph S Blatter through his letter dated September 4th to His Royal Highness Prince Hj Sufri Bolkiah, President of NFABD.

The First FIFA Goal Project, which is the NFABD House, was approved by FIFA Goal Bureau on 04 Feb 2008 and officially handed over to NFABD on 06 June 2011.

Under this FIFA Goal Project 2, the NFABD will have its own football fields, one natural grass pitch and one artificial turf.

The football fields as well as the planned construction of other football infrastructure in the near future within the complex will enable NFABD to concentrate on football development programmes at all levels, starting from the grassroots for ages six to 12 years old.

NFABD will continue in its efforts to look for every opportunity and means to achieve its vision in bringing football in this country to a higher level.
