Imaadi Abd Aziz returns to Brunei with a silver medal from the Kuala Lumpur Open Track Cycling Championship.

Imaadi sealed his medal after riding through the finish line in the Elite Men category 15km scratch race last Friday.

Brunei's Rifaie Hj Johor who also took part in the competition didn't find a placing for himself in the 15km scratch race.

The duo competing for Brunei also took part in the 30km point race the following day.

Unfortunately neither of the two picked up a podium finish at the Cheras Velodrome in Kuala Lumpur.

Rifaie finished in fourth place and Imaadi finished in sixth.

It was good result for the Bruneians as they have never trained on a Velodrome track.

Their training on the track have only come through the past tournament they took part in.

Rifaie and Imaadi took part in the Southeast Asian Grand Prix early June along with Azmi@Loqman Hadzid and Nazri Mastani.

The four teamed up to win a bronze medal in the first leg of the team sprint and took the silver in the second leg of the event.
