His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah, President of the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council, witnessed the fencing match held as part of the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games at Princess Nourah University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Bruneian fencing female athlete Hajah Anis Sabrina binti Haji Yahya competed in the women’s individual sabre event, which featured 12 athletes from Algeria, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Turkiye and Cameroon including Brunei Darussalam.
She faced off against Nil Gungor from Turkiye in the round of 16, with the match concluding with a score of 8-15.
