The Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council (BDNOC) announced yesterday that participants of the King’s Baton Relay on Sunday, can collect their limited edition t-shirts on the day of the event from 5.30am to 6.30am at the open area near the Giant Flag, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex.
Participants are also advised to arrive early to collect their official t-shirt and prepare for the event. The council added that only registered participants themselves can collect the King’s Baton Relay Run t-shirt. They cannot designate someone else to collect on their behalf.
Some 500 have registered for the King’s Baton Relay, scheduled to begin at 6.45am, marking Brunei Darussalam’s participation in the global journey ahead of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
Upon completion of the King’s Baton Relay, participants will receive a certificate as a token of achievement. – James Kon
