Danniel Chan in action at the start of the boy’s 100m backstroke
Brunei Darussalam’s national swimmers continued to beat their best personal records in their categories at the aquatic events of the 3rd Asian Youth Games at the Khalifa Sports City Swimming Pool in Manama, Bahrain.
National swimmer Danniel Chan recorded his new personal best time in the boy’s 100m backstroke (heat 5) after finishing the race with the time of 1.02.85.
However he was placed seventh out of eighth. In the girl’s 100m breaststroke (heat 2), Abbey Wong achieved her new personal best of 1.21.68, finishing seventh out of eight swimmers.
Meanwhile, Sharmeen Mohammad Mharvin finished fifth in the girl’s 100m backstroke (heat 4) with a time of 1.09.42. Dylan Wong finished last in the boy’s 100m breaststroke (heat 3) with 1.15.54. – JAMES KON
