Bruneian swimmers Danniel Chan and Abbey Wong recorded new personal bests in the swimming events at the 3rd Asian Youth Games 2025 at the Khalifa Sports City Swimming Pool in Bahrain on Monday.
In the boys’ 50-metre freestyle (heat), Danniel clocked 26.12 seconds, followed closely by fellow Bruneian Dylan Wong with a time of 26.24 seconds.
Danniel also set another personal best of two minutes and 15.62 seconds in the boys’ 200-metre backstroke (heat).
Meanwhile, Abbey Wong achieved a personal best of 29.48 seconds in the girls’ 50-metre freestyle (heat). – Daniel Lim
