BRUNEI Darussalam national cycling coach Yafiz Jamaludin is targeting podium finishes in both the RHB Mount Bokor Challenge in Cambodia and pre-SEA Games race in Kuala Lumpur this month.
The pre-SEA Games race will be a benchmark for the riders in their bid for selection in the SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur this August.
Yafiz said the riders are well prepared to deliver results.
“We target to win or make the podium,” he added.
Seven riders have been confirmed for the pre-SEA Games competition – Azmi Abdul Hadzid, Abdul Hadrie bin Morsidi, Andrew Mikha bin Sianong, Amiruddin bin Haji Mohammad Amir, Muhammad Rafiuddin bin Zikara, Muhammad Nurjamri bin Johari and Ahmad Rifa’ie bin Haji Johor.
The RHB Mount Bokor Challenge will be held for two days across three stages starting today at the Thansur Bokor Highland Resort.
The pre-SEA Games competition will be held on May 20-21 at Dataran Nilai and Putrajaya.
