SEUNG Jin-yoo, High Performance Coach of FIH (International Hockey Federation), is impressed with the quick progress made over the last five days while facilitating training sessions with the Brunei Darussalam Hockey Association (BHA) players and coaches.
Seung, who is also Director of Korea Hockey Association, said he had held 12 sessions since April 21.
“After a few days of understanding the techniques, theory and practical of the game, I can see that the players had progressed gradually day by day.
“They train really hard … and that is a good sign. I introduced the basics first and then eventually focused more on modern hockey skills used throughout the world, including high level performance skills.
“They are ready for regional and international games like the SEA Games,” the coach added.
