The National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam's (NFABD) Grassroots Football Festival made its way to Belait yesterday in the latest installation of the popular football programme.
The festival was held at the Jerudong International School last Sunday, and yesterday it was the turn of the Belait residents at the Arena field in Seria - with the event moving to Tutong this Sunday and Temburong next Sunday.
DST, in partnership with NFABD, are sponsoring jerseys for festivals in all four districts.
The festival was facilitated by FIFA trained coaches who recently completed a FIFA grassroots course, and it was organised to reach out to children and adults in the Belait district as one of the grassroots initiatives to create awareness of the programme.
The festival was organised in conjunction with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Grassroots Day, which falls on May 15.
