The annual Brunei National Table Tennis Championship 2014 is back!
Organised by the Brunei Amateur Table Tennis Association (BATTA) in cooperation with the Department of Youth and Sports, the tournament will be contested over two Sundays - April 20th and 27th - at the Multipupose Hall of the Menglait Sports Complex.
The two-day competition will be held in accordance with International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) rules.
The events to be contested are men's and women's singles, men's and women's doubles and mixed doubles.
The first round for the singles events will be played in a round robin format while the second stage onwards will be held in a knockout format.
All matches will be held in the best-of-five series.
Entry fee for singles is $10 for members and $15 for non-members; doubles is $20 for members and $30 for non-members.
The top-eight players for the singles events from the Brunei Junior Table Tennis Championships 2014 which concluded early last month are eligible to enter the competition with their fees waived.

Completed forms and entry fees are to be handed in no later than 8pm on April 16.
The draw will be held at the competition venue immediately after.
Last year's edition saw Ang Wee Tiam successfully defend his crown in the men's singles after defeating Wee Tzu Min 3-2 (9-11, 11-5, 9-11, 11-5, 11-9).
Wee won the gold in the men's doubles partnering Pg Md Sufian Pg Hj Ibrahim to beat Douglas Lim and Samuel Revales 3-2 (11-6, 6-11, 12-14, 11-6, 11-9).
Winnie Lim Huey Nee won the women's single event after defeating Lydia Abd Qayyum Hii 3-0 (11-4, 11-7, 11-8).
She also won the women's doubles together with Fiona Hii after triumphing 3-1 (11-7, 10-12, 11-7, 11-6) over Hong Rou Qin and Hong Hui Qin.
Lim was denied a third gold medal in the mixed doubles where she partnered Jason Koh after losing 3-2 (11-7, 6-11, 11-5, 11-13, 11-9) to the duo of Abdul Hadi Zulfadli Hj Yahya and Nurhidayahtulisma Isnon Ismail in the final.
Brunei are also set to host the 20th Southeast Asian Junior Table Tennis Championship in June and have prepared by organising a Tournament Organisation Course and similar courses for umpires.
The Sultanate also hosted the meet in 2005.
