DPMM FC are looking to erase their bad memories against the Tampines Rovers.

Brunei's only professional team will face their biggest match so far in the Steve Kean era as they host the three-time defending champions in the Singapore League (S-League) tomorrow at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas.

Both teams have won their opening three games of the season with nine points each to their name in the 12-team table.

However, DPMM FC have yet to get on the winning end against the Stags with two draws and two losses in their past meetings.

Their last meeting in August was one to forget as they were handed a 6-2 thrashing at home, with Aleksandar Duric firing a hat-trick.

Captain Rosmin Hj Kamis, though, has already forgotten their last encounter and is focused on the present.

"I don't even remember the last time we met," said Rosmin in an interview with The Brunei Times yesterday.

"It will be a big match since both teams have had a good start to the season (and) we'll be playing to win.

"We will just keep doing what we do best now.

"I think they are also worried about us since we also have in-form strikers in Rodrigo (Tosi) and Roy (O'Donovan).

"They are working hard up front and both deserved to score against Home United.

"I also want to credit all the players for that win and it will be an entertaining match this Sunday.

"I also hope that many football fans will come to support the team as it will be an extra boost for the players," continued Rosmin.

Goalkeeper Wardun Yussof believes that they have got what it takes to barge into the win column against the Stags.

"The past is the past (and) there is always a first time in anything," insisted Wardun.

"In Kean we trust. As his tactics always work.

"It will be a tough game though. If we defend good like the last three games and keep a clean sheet, then we will win the game.

"The goals will come because our attackers are good enough to score goals. I hope in this game against Tampines, our players will give 101 per cent until the final whistle," continued the DPMM FC custodian.

DPMM FC have yet to concede in this seaon's S-League, but they will have to look out for the league's top scorer Miljan Mrdakovic who has found the back of the net four times so far.

Left back Sairol Hj Sahari didn't play the last match but knows that teamwork is the important thing if they are to finish as winners.

"Tampines are a very good team. For me as a defender, we just have to keep (our) momentum on how we have been playing and work together as a team," said Sairol.

"I don't mind who we play against. We just have to work hard in every game we play, and it is going to be an exciting match since both teams have not loss," concluded the left back.

Kick off is at 8.15pm.
