Tunas FC edged Setia Perdana 2-1 in DST Premier League action at the Tutong Sports Complex yesterday.
Ahmad Mumtaaz Hj Johor and Rozaini Hj Petra both found the net for Tunas.
Ahmad Mumtaaz broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute to give Tunas a 1-0 lead.
However, Mohd Faisal Ali would equalise for Setia Perdana in the 85th minute.
Rozaini would secure the three points for Tunas after scoring late in the 91st minute.
Over at the Temburong Sports Complex at Batu Apoi, Lun Bawang defeated Kota Rangers 3-0.
Zaim Awat, Christopher Ambon and Delson Jumat all got their names on the scoresheet in the victory.
The DST Premier League kicked off last Sunday with Brunei Shell Recreation Club Football Team (BSRC FT) defeating Tunas 3-1 at the Tutong Sports Complex.
Mohammad Hazman Hamdan provided plenty of firepower for BSRC after scoring a brace.
Teammate Syazwi Mohammad also got his name on the scoresheet in the victory.
Mohammad Hazman broke the deadlock in the 28th minute to give BSRC a 1-0 lead.
Syazwan Azizi Hj Taib would equalise for Tunas 10 minutes later, but Syazwi would put BSRC FT in front again just before the end of the first half to give BSRC FT a 2-1 advantage.
Mohammad Hazman would score his second goal in the 78th minute as BSRC walked away with the three points.
The league was scheduled to start last Friday but was postponed due to unsatisfactory pitch conditions at competition venues after heavy rain.
