HIS Royal Highness Prince Hj Sufri Bolkiah, the president of the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD), attended a meeting to discuss preparations for the Rio 2016 Olympics football competition on Monday in his capacity as a member of the tournament’s organising committee.
The football tournament kicked off yesterday with South Africa’s women’s team facing Sweden in the first event of the Rio Games.
The men’s competition starts today when Iraq play Denmark.
Mexico are the defending champions in the men’s competition while the USA are the titleholders in the women’s event.
