The Brunei sepak takraw team lost both their matches in the Quadrant event during the 33rd Southeast Asian Games on Wednesday at the nakhon pathom gymnasium in Bangkok, Thailand and did not qualify for the semi-finals.
In the first match of the day, Brunei was defeated by Vietnam in straight sets, 2-15, 6-15, and lost to Malaysia also in straight sets, 13-15, 4-15. The team comprised Zatie Hidayat bin Saidi, Mohammad Faiz Fikri bin Haji Lamit, Mohammad Asyraf bin Abdullah Mohamad Asrul, Md Asllyi bin Haji Asmali, Mohamad Noorazlan bin Rosli, and Abdul Raziq Waqiuddin bin Abdul Rahma. – James Kon
