His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah, Honorary Executive Board Member of Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and President of the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council (BDNOC) on Monday attended the 45th General Assembly of the OCA in Kuwait. The 45th General Assembly of the OCA under the theme ‘One Asia’ brings together delegates from 45 Asian nations and around 400 prominent sports figures.
The assembly aimed to strengthen Olympic movement in Asia, promote sportsmanship and uphold the value of friendship as well as mutual respect.
Also attending the assembly were President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Dr Thomas Bach and IOC President-elect Kirsty Coventry.
On May 11, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait received Dr Thomas Bach, Kirsty Coventry and members of the IOC including His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah on the occasion of visit to Kuwait for the 45th General Assembly of the OCA. – James Kon
