His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah, Honorary Life President of Southeast Asian Games Federation (SEAGF) and President of the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council, attended the 2nd Southeast Asian Games Federation (SEAGF) Council Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand yesterday.
It was confirmed that 50 sporting events will be contested for the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games 2025 hosted by Thailand next year.
Some of the sporting events include wushu, polo, netball, karate, pencak silat, kickboxing, teqball, woodball, kabaddi and Muay Thai.
The sporting venues will take place at three major cities of Thailand namely Bangkok, Chonburi and Songkla. It was also confirmed that Laos will become the host for the 36th SEA Games in 2031. – James Kon
