National wushu athlete Basma Lachkar continues to shine in the international stage after winning gold in the Women’s Optional Taijijian event of the 2024 University Wushu Championship in Harbin, China on Thursday.
After her electrifying performance, Basma Lachkar collected a score of 9.510 to claim first place over Japan’s Hibiki Isono who scored 9.5003 to claim second place. Third place went to China’s Chen Yuxing, with the score 9.496. – JAMES KON
