The 19th Asian Games Hangzhou Fun Run, expected to take place this Sunday at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien has received overwhelming response from the public, with more than 1,300 people having registered for the event.
Organised by the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council with support from the Youth and Sports Department at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, the fun run aims to invest in Asia’s younger generation to raise participation in sporting and cultural activities while fostering unity among communities.
The 19th Asian Games is scheduled to be held in Hangzhou, China from September 23 to October 8.
