In preparation for next year’s Southease Asian (SEA) Games, four national Wushu athletes – Mohd Safiee Shayferan bin Roslan, Mohd Adi Salihin bin Roslan, Majdurano Joel bin Majallah Sain and Hosea Wong – left the Sultanate yesterday for Shanxi, China to train for a duration of over a month.
The athletes were accompanied by National Wushu Coach Li Hui and Zhao Chunjie and will train at the Shanxi Sports Training Centre.
Coach Li Hui said, “We plan to complete our training on September 13, however, the date is not confirmed. We hope our athletes will make good use of the opportunity to further improve their techniques such as triple jumps and others. We will also be training with Wushu athletes in China.”
