In the men’s singles, Abdul Rahman Omar of Brunei won his match against Dalton Tagelagi of Niue 21-14. However, Awang Abd Rahman Omar was defeated by Malaysian Muhammad soufi rusli 14-21 in his second match of the day.
The national Men’s Fours team comprising Haji Naim Brahim – Lead, Ampuan Ahad bin Ampuan Kasim, Pengiran Haji Tengah bin Pengiran Haji Tajudin and Md Israt Amiruddin bin Haji Abdul Ghani were defeated by team Scotland 9-25.
