The Brunei Basketball Association (BBA) will organise the all-local BBA Cup in mid June.
The competition will be held at the BBA court in Batu Bersurat and is open to all cagers holding yellow or red identity cards only. Registration fee is set at $300 per team and forms can be obtained from the competition venue.
Completed forms together with fees are to be returned to the organisers no later than May 31. Interested parties can contact AngEng Kee at 8897449 or Lim Kah Soon at 8875593.
The last competition organised by the BBA was the 2013 Aewon Cup back in October last year. Mochi-Each A Cup (MEAC) Realpower emerged champions after a 93-65 demolition of Titans in the final.
Unstoppable on the offensive end, Miri-based Voon Yiew Ting put up a Most Valuable Player performance for MEAC after hitting a game-high of 37 points in the championship decider at the BBA court in Batu Bersurat.
Esmond Tan provided 20 points while Benjamin Lim added 13 in the lop-sided triumph. Danilo Felicilda led the Titans in scoring with 23 points while Sherwin Padlan was the only other Titans cager to get into double figures with 11 points.
Sharks/Hankook emerged champions of the veterans category after holding on for a 97-85 win over DHJ.
