They now have a maximum seven points to their name before the pairs and singles events - to be contested today at the Lawn Bowls Arena of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.
The Lions continue to chase the table toppers, beating the Jets 21-11 to bring their tally to six points.
Sabres sit in third with five points after losing 23-10 to the Tigers, who are on three points, tied with Scorpion, Panthers and Stingrays.
The latter notched a point after beating the Panthers 20-7 in their match while the Warriors picked up their first point after overcoming the winless Eagles 18-16.
