Abd Rahman's first match of the day saw him fall 7-9, 5-10 to Malaysia's Fairul Abd Muin before sealing an impressive 14-4, 13-4 win over Hong Kong's Chi Leung Fung.
Hjh Amalia sealed her victory after taking out Macau's Nikki Lee 9-3, 8-7 in her second match of the day.
Abd Rahman's first win came on the first day of the tournament when he edged Turkey's Ozkan Akar 6-6, 7-7, 5-0 at the Warilla Bowls & Recreation Club in New South Wales.
He now sits in 8th overall in the men's Group 2 with three more matches ahead of him.
Abd Rahman is scheduled to take on Ireland's Neil Booth and Fiji's Samuela Tuikiligana today before finishing his campaign against Australia's Tony Wood tomorrow.

She picked up her first victory during day two when she beat Hong Kong's Tammy Tham 6-9, 8-6, 2-1.
Her wins puts her in 11th position, ahead of Tham who only holds one win to her name.
Hjh Amalia will face Malta's Carmen Spiteri and Japan's Hiroko Emura today before ending her competition against Australia's Karen Murphy tomorrow.
