Kilanas FC are hoping to improve on last season's showing despite not having a single training session yet this season.
"We haven't had the chance to do any training due to the weather conditions," the club's assistant manager Emzah Chuchu told The Brunei Times ahead of their DST Super League campaign.
"Also, some of our players have not been able to make it because of work commitments," he said, adding that "the aim for this season is to do better than we did last year and our strategy is to play attractive football."
"We only have two new faces playing for us this season.
"Sadly, we lost Kurmin Awg Hj Bini who was part of last month's Southeast Asian (SEA) Games squad in Myanmar after having to withdraw due to an injury," continued Emzah.
Making their debut in the league during the 2012-2013 season, Kilanas FC finished ninth in the 10-team table.
Kilanas FC recorded four points from one win, one draw and seven losses, their only win coming against Najip FC, who they beat 7-1.
Najip FC were at the bottom of the table with nine losses last season.
Kilanas FC's sole draw came when they played out a 3-3 stalemate when they met Jerudong FC, who finished ahead of them with nine points.
