Brunei won the bronze medal in the futsal event at the recently concluded 5th Borneo Games in Labuan.
The Under-21 team managed two wins, a draw and a loss in their campaign. The tournament was held in the league format and they lost out to Sabah based on goal difference.
The Sultanate started out their campaign with a 6-1 thrashing of Labuan B before cruising to a 5-0 win over Labuan A on Wednesday.
On Thursday, Brunei and Sabah shared the spoils in their matchup after drawing 4-4 before going on to lose 7-4 to East Kalimantan in their last game.
