Hj Naim Brahim and Abd Rahman Hj Omar finally shifted gears in the lawn bowls men's pairs event when they won both their games yesterday at the Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex in New Delhi.
The highly rated duo easily defeated Botswana 2-0 (19-5, 10-5) before dispatching Papua New Guinea 2-0 (12-7, 13-7).

The trio of Hj Rosli Hj Ibrahim, Md Ali Bujang and Yakup Amit started the day with a 2-1 (3-11, 11-6, 0-5) loss to Namibia but redeemed themselves in their second game with a 1.5-0.5 (8-8, 8-6) triumph over Malta.
